Job Summary
Manage and grow customer accounts by identifying new business opportunities, preparing quotations, coordinating orders and deliveries, and maintaining strong client relationships to support sales growth and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage customer accounts to identify new business opportunities and maintain a healthy sales pipeline
- Prepare accurate quotations and negotiate commercial terms within approval limits to secure profitable deals
- Coordinate order processing, delivery schedules, and after-sales support with Operations and Logistics teams to ensure timely fulfillment
- Monitor customer credit terms and collaborate with Finance to support collection follow-ups and minimize payment delays
- Maintain detailed sales records and reports to provide management with market feedback and sales performance insights
- Respond promptly to customer enquiries and prepare quotations or tenders as required to support business development
- Follow up on orders and coordinate delivery logistics to manage customer expectations and resolve issues effectively
- Update CRM and sales records regularly and submit periodic sales reports to track progress and opportunities
- Conduct site and partner visits as needed to strengthen key account relationships and gather market intelligence
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Business or related discipline preferred
- 2–5 years of sales experience, preferably with exposure to construction, building materials, or steel industries
- Proficiency in quotation and order coordination processes
- Basic knowledge of contract and term management
- Experience in sales reporting and CRM system usage
- Strong communication skills to engage effectively with customers and internal teams
- Results-driven mindset focused on achieving sales targets and business growth
- Customer-focused approach to build and maintain positive client relationships
- Resilience and proactivity to handle challenges and adapt to changing business needs
