Key Responsibilities

• Assist in managing the daily operations of the mini mart and barber shop.
• Supervise and coordinate staff, including cashiers, sales assistants, and barbers, to ensure efficient workflow.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and handle customer inquiries or complaints professionally.
• Monitor and achieve sales targets for both retail and grooming services.
• Manage inventory control, including stock ordering, replenishment, and stocktaking for the mini mart.
• Oversee product display and merchandising to maximise sales.
• Ensure proper cash handling, billing, and daily sales reconciliation.
• Schedule staff shifts and ensure adequate manpower coverage.
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards for both retail and barber areas.
• Support marketing activities and promotions to increase customer traffic and retention.
• Maintain good relationships with customers and suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations.
• Prepare basic reports on sales performance and operations.
• Perform any other ad-hoc duties assigned by Management.

Requirements

• Relevant experience in retail, F&B, or service industry (barber/salon is a plus)
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Basic knowledge of inventory and sales management
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in supervising a team
• Knowledge of POS systems and basic reporting
• Familiarity with barber shop operations is an advantage
