Responsibilities

• Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify and mitigate safety hazards, ensuring compliance with company ISO and OSHAS policies
• Perform daily site inspections and initiate corrective actions, preparing detailed inspection reports for the Construction Manager to facilitate prompt resolution
• Collaborate with construction teams to address safety concerns and lead daily toolbox meetings to promote safety awareness
• Enforce all applicable safety legislation and internal safety rules and regulations to maintain a high standard of workplace safety
• Implement and monitor the Safety Management System on construction sites to ensure adherence to safe work procedures by supervisors and workers
• Maintain and complete comprehensive project Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) reports and documentation to support compliance and continuous improvement

Required competencies and certifications

• Minimum 3 years’ of relevant working experience in Building construction
• Advanced Certificate in WSH Safety Coordinators Training Course / BCSS
• Certification in Work at Heights (WAH) Supervisor course
• Occupational First Aid Course (OFA)
