Job Description

We are looking for a responsible and hands-on Retail Shop Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our retail outlet in Tuas. The ideal candidate will supervise staff, manage inventory, ensure smooth store operations, and assist in physical handling of goods when necessary.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise day-to-day retail operations to ensure smooth workflow and good customer service.
• Oversee staff performance, assign duties, and provide on-the-job guidance.
• Handle stock receiving, inventory control, and product display.
• Perform loading and unloading of goods, and assist in arranging stock in the store or warehouse.
• Ensure store cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards are maintained.
• Check product quality, expiry dates, and proper labelling.
• Prepare daily sales reports and assist in simple administrative duties.
• Support management in implementing promotions and ensuring price accuracy.
• Perform other related tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 year of experience in retail or store supervision preferred.
• Able to handle manual work, including the safe loading, unloading, and movement of goods.
• Responsible, punctual, and able to lead by example.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Able to work in Tuas and comfortable with a hands-on supervisory role.
• Basic computer literacy (for stock entry and reporting).
