Job Summary:

An exciting opportunity to support regional retail expansion and develop into a future business leader within a fast-growing retail organisation.

Responsibilities:

• Support retail store expansion initiatives across the region, with a focus on new store development.
• Identify, evaluate, and source suitable commercial properties for new store openings.
• Liaise with landlords and property developers, including arranging meetings and conducting negotiations.
• Lead end-to-end lease negotiations and support lease documentation and contract execution.
• Perform back-office functions related to store expansion, including rental calculations and cost tracking.
• Manage administrative matters such as staff overtime monitoring and incentive payouts.
• Coordinate and communicate effectively between regional headquarters and local operations teams.
• Act as a core member of the regional expansion team with exposure to strategic business initiatives.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in retail expansion, real estate leasing, business development, or a related function.
• Proficiency in Japanese language for liaising with Japanese-speaking clients and stakeholders, and for future communication with regional headquarters.
• Strong self-motivation with the ability to work independently, identify challenges, and drive projects to completion.
• Good organisational and coordination skills with attention to detail in administrative and contractual matters.
• Interest in and adaptability to corporate cultures from different markets is required.
• Willingness and motivation to learn new skills and take on increasing responsibilities as part of a succession and leadership development track.
