What's the role? 
Resident Engineer is responsible for developing, implementing, managing or coordinating services of complex solutions in mainly Energy [ e.g. Thermal and Nuclear Power, Oil & Gas On-Shore and Off-Shore Plants, Shipbuilding], Industry [e.g. Vehicle, Machinery, Electronics, Data Centers] or civil and building constructional related projects. The resident Engineer must be able to ensure successful completion of a project`s scope or services through complete customer satisfaction and to establish, maintain strong relationships throughout the project cycle.

What does the role involve and what you need?
Maintain expert level of product and application knowledge for all Hilti and Oglaend engineering relevant solutions such as modular support, post installed anchoring, direct fastening, firestop and cable tray, ladders systems.

• Be familiar with different type of execution related product lines, required for engineering relevant solutions such as electrical, direct fastening, measuring tools and tooling etc.

• Provide project / service documentation packages for engineering related application such as reports, drawings, bill of materials, installation manuals, specifications, inspection reports etc.

• Respond to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs /RFQs

• Effectively communicates, understand and convey customer and project requirements.

• Perform technical / product / application training for HILTI & OGLAEND sales force and customers

• Maintain accurate records of target accounts, opportunities, quotes, projects, contacts and correspondence in company databases

• Follow company workflows, guidelines and instructions

• Travel and stationed on project sites or customer offices to lead or attend meetings, trainings or provide construction or engineering services.

• Maintain knowledge of energy, industry and building construction related codes / standards / guidelines.

• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Team Leaders

As a project and service resident engineer to provide project engineering / coordination / management, and engineering and construction services of different HILTI & OGALEND (engineering scope) relevant low to high complexity applications, based on modular support systems and related products (e.g. direct fastening, firestop and cable tray, ladders systems, post installed anchoring) with using either company proprietary or 3rd party software (e.g. Autodesk products MS Office or any others like Adobe, Float, Open Project, Sales Force, SAP etc. ).

• Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions

• Interact daily with the customer to interpret their needs and requirements

• Establish project objectives, procedures, data collection methods, and performance standards within boundaries of customer or Hilti / Oglaend standards

• Prepare scheduled and necessary updates of construction activities, create project monitoring, reviewing protocols and reports

• Manage compliance, quality control, and quality assurance standards and specifications to ensure the adherence to relevant codes / standards / project / customer specification and Hilti, Oglaend standards in different stages of projects.

• Provide inputs to sales, business development in acquisition/execution phase in regards to Hilti and Oglaend relevant application and services competitive methods from a technical & service point of view

• Proactively collaborating and communicating and supporting different local and global stakeholders of Hilti, Oglaend and customer departments such as project management, engineering, sales, business developers, logistics, production or finance etc. with project/product/application relevant information
