Relief Teacher for Nursery 2 Class - Short-term Position

Working Hours: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Support Classroom Learning: Deliver age-appropriate lessons for Nursery 2 students following our established curriculum and lesson plans
• Maintain Classroom Routine: Ensure smooth daily operations and consistent care during the regular teacher's absence
• Foster a Nurturing Environment: Create a safe, engaging space where 3-4 year olds can learn and grow
• Collaborate with Team: Work closely with teaching assistants and other staff to maintain continuity of care
• Communicate with Parents: Provide daily updates and maintain open communication with families
• Document Progress: Keep records of children's activities and any notable developments during the relief period

Who You Are:

• A flexible educator comfortable stepping into an established classroom
• Someone who can quickly build rapport with young children
• Adaptable and able to follow existing routines while bringing your own warmth
• Professional and reliable for the duration of the assignment

Minimum Qualifications:

• Diploma in Early Childhood Care & Education – Teaching (DECCE-T)
• Certified by ECDA as an L2 Teacher
• Language Skills: Fluent in English/Chinese (written and spoken) required for classroom instruction and parent communications
• Strong classroom management skills for Nursery 2 age group

Compensation

• Competitive daily/hourly rate commensurate with qualifications and experience
• *Rates to be discussed during interview
