We are partnering with a global FMCG client on a Regional Financial Controller mandate. In this role, you will report to the CFO and work closely with regional leadership and business units, supporting financial planning, reporting, and performance management across the Asia Pacific region.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead APAC financial consolidation and reporting across actuals, budgets, forecasts, and multi-year plans.
• Drive regional FP&A activities, encompassing scenario planning, variance analysis, and forecasting, to provide actionable insights that support strategic decision-making.
• Present key KPIs, financial ratios, and business drivers to the CFO and leadership team, translating complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for decision-making.
• Business partner with budget owners to analyze sales, margins, and profitability, providing actionable insights and collaborating on performance improvement plans.
• Develop and maintain APAC financial dashboards, forecasts, and management presentations to provide visibility into financial performance.
• Evaluate business processes, KPIs, and trends to drive efficiencies and support data-driven decision-making.

Key Requirements

• 8–10 years of progressive FP&A and controlling experience within the Retail or FMCG industry, with prior Big 4 experience considered a strong advantage.
• Professional accounting qualification (CPA/CA/ACCA) or degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Teams); experience with SAP FICO/BW or similar ERP systems is a plus.
• Solid business and financial acumen, with the ability to analyze data and provide reliable insights and recommendations.
• Meticulous, detail-oriented, and analytical, with the ability to take initiative and make independent decisions.
