Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled OpenShift Engineer to design,implement, and support containerized platforms using Red Hat OpenShift. The role involves building scalable, secure, and highly available Kubernetes environments and supporting application teams across development, testing, andproduction.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage Red Hat OpenShift clusters (on-prem / cloud / hybrid).
• Install, configure, upgrade, and patch OpenShift and Kubernetes components.
• Manage container platforms, namespaces, RBAC, networking, and storage.
• Support CI/CD integration with OpenShift (Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps, etc.).
• Monitor cluster performance, capacity, and availability.
• Troubleshoot cluster, application, and infrastructure issues.
• Implement security best practices (image scanning, secrets, policies).
• Work closely with DevOps and application teams for container adoption.
• Automate platform operations using Ansible / Helm / Operators.
• Maintain documentation and operational runbooks.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenShift.
• Red Hat certifications (RHCSA, RHCE, OpenShift certification).
• Solid understanding of Kubernetes,Docker, and container orchestration.
• Experience with Linux system administration.
• Knowledge of OpenShift networking (SDN/OVN), routes, services, ingress.
• Experience with persistent storage (Ceph, NFS, cloud storage).

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
