Responsibilities

• Participate in projects from inception to completion and responsible for pre-contract and post contract administration.
• Preparation of preliminary cost plans and budgetary cost estimates.
• Propose procurement strategy, preparation of tender documents, tender evaluation and award recommendation.
• Post contract administration including preparation of periodic cost reports, valuation of progress claims, review and assess variation claims and finalisation of project accounts.
• To work closely with the Consultant Team providing cost and financial advice as well as contractual support and advice.

Requirements

• Degree in Building / Quantity Surveying preferably recognised by BCA.
• Relevant working experience in the local construction industry.
• Min. 3 years working experience in quantity surveying capacity.
• Candidates with lesser years of relevant experience can be considered for junior position.
• Possess technical background with sound knowledge of pre and post-contract duties.
• Good working knowledge of SIA and PSSCOC forms/conditions of contract.
• Good working knowledge of standard forms of measurement, CEMS, SMM or equivalent.
• Membership with SISV, RICS or/and AIQS is preferred.
• Able to work independently and be a good team player as well.
• Possess excellent people skills with the ability to integrate within a multi-disciplinary team and communicate with external Clients and Consultants.
