Quality Assurance Engineer (Aircraft/ Aviation/ Aerospace/ Maintenance)

24-Months Contract

Location: Seletar

Salary: Up to $4,000 depending on experience

Our client is a US aerospace manufacturer. They manufacture military rotorcraft as well as commercial helicopters. Our client also involves in wholesale of aircraft equipment and aircraft supplies (including aeronautical equipment).

General Responsibilities:

• Perform surveillance on maintenance activities on aircraft and components.
• Conduct quality audits (internal and external) to ensure work performed is compliance with applicable airworthiness regulatory requirements and AS9110 requirements.
• Assist in obtaining and maintaining AS9110 certification.
• Conduct continuation training on regulatory requirements, MOE, human factors, Safety Management System, etc.
• Follow up with corrective and preventive actions to ensure timely closure and effectiveness.
• Perform incident/accident investigations when required.
• Lead continuous improvements projects.
• Consolidate and monitor quality performance data to predict possible trends.
• Perform new capability evaluation when required.
• Sample check on work documents to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Any other functions as assigned by Quality Assurance Manager.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Aerospace Engineering
• Min 2 to 5 years’ Quality assurance experience in MRO or airline environment
• Possess Part 66 License or FAA A&P Certificates.
• Attended Auditor Training and Train the Trainer Course.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel & PowerPoint).
• Familiar with RAMCO & SAP systems.
• Familiar with AS9110 and/or Part 145 requirements.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data management and trend analysis.
