We’re looking for a Quality & Inventory Support Technician to support daily QA and shop‑floor activities. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys coordination, documentation, and ensuring efficient inspection workflows.

Job Description

Shop-Floor Inventory & Parts Support

• Maintain standard part inventory on the shop floor and storage areas.
• Conduct regular stock checks and physical counts.
• Support issuing, receiving, and tracking of standard parts for production use.
• Raise purchase requisitions (PR) for standard parts and follow up on delivery status.
• Prepare and update standard parts based on engineering drawings and BOM lists.

QC Planning & Production Support

• Support daily shop-floor QC planning and work scheduling to ensure smooth inspection flow.
• Coordinate with team mates on inspection priorities.
• Assist in preparing parts and documents for inspection activities.
• Support basic production and QC operations as required on the shop floor.

Quality Documentation Support

• Maintain and file QA/QC records accurately.
• Update inspection records, checklists, and basic quality documents.
• Ensure documents are properly stored and available for audit or inspection.

Basic Measurement & Inspection Support

• Perform simple measurement checks using basic measurement tools (e.g. caliper, micrometer, profile projector).
• Support QC inspection activities when required.

Requirements:

• Minimum GCE O-Level or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing or shop-floor environment.
• Able to read and interpret basic mechanical drawings is an advantage.
• Able to use basic measuring instruments (caliper, micrometer, profile projector).
• Basic understanding of spoken and written English.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel for record-keeping.
• Willing to work mainly on the shop floor and support production operations.
