Job Responsibilities:

• QA Charter Implementation: Lead the adoption and enforcement of the QA Charter across all IT projects (applications, backend APIs, and integrated systems), includingCSA-aligned security testing.
• Test Strategy & Planning: Develop and maintain comprehensive test strategies covering functional, regression, integration, backend API, load/performance, negative scenarios, and security compliance testing.       
• Backend API & Microservices Testing: Validate API functional accuracy, performance, and CSA-compliant security controls (authentication, authorisation, encryption,rate limiting, logging).
• Load & Performance Testing: Ensure all projects meet defined performance benchmarks; identify and address bottlenecks.
• Security Testing: Work closely with the security team to test against CSA-prescribed controls for web, mobile, and APIs; track remediation of vulnerabilities. Implement API security testing with OWASP Top 10 coverage.
• Automation Leadership: Design, implement, and maintain test automation frameworks; integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Documentation & Traceability: Ensure test cases are mapped to business requirements and security controls, maintaining traceability from requirements to defects.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with Product, Development, Security, and PMO teams to embed QA checks into stage gates and ensure project compliance before go-live.
• Team Leadership: Mentor and guide QA team members, setting quality standards and ensuring consistent execution.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCES

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 6+ years of hands-on software testing experience, with 2+ years in a lead or senior QA role.
• Proven experience in manual and automated testing for web, mobile, and backend APIs.
• Proficient with automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Appium, JUnit, TestNG, Tosca) and API testing tools (e.g., Postman, Newman, REST Assured).
• Skilled in performance/load testing (e.g., JMeter, NeoLoad) and interpreting performance metrics.
• Knowledge of security testing methodologies, including OWASP and CSA-prescribed controls.
• Familiar with DevOps toolchains (e.g., Bamboo, Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps) and test management platforms (e.g., TestRail, Jira Xray, Zephyr).
• Strong analytical skills for diagnosing complex defects and identifying process improvements.
• Excellent communication skills to present quality metrics, risks, and compliance findings to stakeholders. 
• Experience with backend and database testing, validating data integrity and system integration flows.
• Familiarity with AI-powered QA tools or AI model validation is a plus.
