Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and manage the overall project control plan, construction programme, and quality and safety plans.

  • Monitor progress and ensure works are carried out according to approved schedules and standards.

  • Organise and manage project production activities, including material approvals, sample submissions, and site implementation.

  • Oversee on-site construction activities from commencement to completion.

  • Coordinate and support the implementation of project design schemes.

  • Provide practical input and recommendations on drawings and construction details.

  • Participate in coordination with consultants and external parties on key milestones and technical matters.

  • Coordinate and manage on-site work with the main contractor, sub-contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders.

  • Resolve site and coordination issues to ensure smooth project execution.

  • Control and manage project cost budgets in accordance with company requirements.

  • Monitor variations, claims, and contract compliance to ensure commercial objectives are met.

  • Organise and allocate responsibilities among project team members.

  • Ensure manpower and resources are efficiently deployed to meet project needs.

  • Provide recommendations on project sub-contracting.

  • Oversee and manage sub-contractors to ensure performance, quality, safety, and cost control.

  • Carry out other duties assigned by management.

  • Participate in the development and improvement of the company’s project management systems and processes.

Requirements

  • Degree or diploma in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
  • At least 8 years of construction or project industry experience, including a minimum of 5 years in a project management or leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, project planning, cost control, and contract administration.
  • Good leadership, coordination, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deliver projects under tight timelines.
