Job Description

Job Summary:

The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing construction projects from planning to completion. This role ensures that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards. The Project Manager will coordinate with contractors, suppliers, consultants, architects, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of all project phases.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead, plan, and execute construction projects according to approved design, specifications, and timelines.

Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, main contractors, and subcontractors.

Develop project schedules, budget forecasts, and progress reports.

Conduct regular site inspections to monitor work progress, safety compliance, and workmanship quality.

Manage project documentation including contracts, permits, inspection reports, and drawings.

Ensure strict compliance with codes of practices, safety regulations, and quality standards.

Review and approve construction materials, technical drawings, and method statements.

Manage project risks, constraints, change orders, and cost control measures.

Conduct weekly project meetings with stakeholders and provide updates to management.

Resolve onsite issues promptly to avoid delays and ensure continuous workflow.

Oversee commissioning, testing, and final handover to client upon project completion.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field.

Minimum 5–8 years of project management experience in projects management.

Proven track record of handling full-cycle projects.

Strong knowledge of local regulations, safety standards, and engineering methodologies.

Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Office, AutoCAD, is an advantage).

Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.

Ability to manage deadlines, budgets, and multiple stakeholders effectively.
