Job Summary

Oversee site equipment installations and maintenance while ensuring compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards. Plan resources and schedules, conduct safety training, identify site defects, and prepare progress reports to support project success.

Responsibilities

• Oversee installation, deployment, and maintenance of equipment structures and facilities at sites to ensure operational integrity
• Plan and allocate resources, develop work schedules, and establish Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for site activities to optimize efficiency
• Review work schedules and method statements before site work commencement to ensure compliance with project requirements
• Ensure all site works comply with design specifications and meet safety, health, environmental, and stakeholder comfort standards
• Identify and report defects, damages, theft, accidents, and incidents affecting site infrastructure, equipment, and facilities
• Conduct safety training sessions to promote safety awareness and enforce adherence to safety rules and regulations among site personnel
• Participate in Safety Committee activities to maintain compliance with safety, health, environmental regulations, Authority Code of Practices (COP), and WSH, MOH & MOM Guidelines
• Resolve unexpected site issues promptly to minimize disruptions and maintain project timelines
• Prepare and submit regular reports detailing site progress, resource utilization, requirements, and ongoing activities

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with at least four years of relevant field safety experience supervising installation and maintenance of roadside, civil, and structural works coordinating with government/utility agencies and contractors
• Experience as a safety auditor or inspector ensuring compliance with Environmental, Safety, and Health practices
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint for Windows)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills demonstrated through resourceful and meticulous work
• Effective verbal communication and writing skills in English to facilitate clear reporting and coordination
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Willingness to travel regularly between office and sites and to perform night work as project needs require
