The Job

You will join the Manufacturing Section equipped with latest manufacturing technology and advanced engineering control, and assist the Production Supervisor in accomplishing manufacturing targets and workplace safety, health & environmental standards.

The Daily

• Provide support in plant commissioning, start-up, shut down and production activities to facilitate safe and smooth manufacturing operations.
• Undertake production operations, quality checks and minor plant maintenance operations to meet production schedule, product quality and cost objectives.
• Perform field inspection/patrol, sample collection, data recoding to support plant reliability, quality product and production efficiency.
• Participate in Emergency Response Team with involvement in emergency training and execution of emergency countermeasures.
• Comply with Health, Safety & Environment policy and procedure and take part in Health, Safety & Environment activities to strengthen workplace safety & health and environmental protection.

The Essentials

• Possess a GCE ‘O’ level with credits in Science/Technical subjects or NITEC (NTC 2) in Chemical Process, Mechanical Fitting, Electrical Fitting & Installation or Electronics.
• Willing to perform rotating shift work.
• You need to be a team player with initiative, drive & commitment, able to take pressure and able to communicate well with others.
