About the Role
We are looking for a hardworking, innovative, and collaborative Financials Functional Consultant to join our team. In this role you will ensure the successful implementation of the Workday Financials solution with customers through product and implementation expertise. The ideal candidate for this position should have extensive experience implementing or supporting Workday financials, requirements capturing, configuration, data conversion, and testing. You should be detail oriented, self motivated, proactive, results oriented and able to successfully partner with customers and your project team. Be ready to be challenged and have fun!

Responsibilities:
• Work closely with the customer's project team to design, configure and deploy their functional requirements.
• Support strategic customer pursuits by contribution to solution design, prospect education / influencing, scoping, and estimating.
• Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Demonstrate expert level capability in the Workday Financial Management product suite
• Perform the following on an engagement: understand client business requirements, configure the Workday solution, demonstrate the configurations through the development of prototype systems, assist the client in testing the Workday solution
• Work with the client to help convert by legacy data into Workday
• Assist the integration consulting team to configure and test integrations between Workday and third party/custom solutions
• Mentor other consultants
• Ensure the client takes advantage of Workday best practices
• Ensure the client is referenceable once the client is in production
• Maintaining product expertise through Workday Certification(s) along with familiarity with Workday roadmap.
• Provide the Engagement Manager with status reports and keep them apprised of overall project status

About You

This position will be open to candidates at the Principal Consultant level, expected qualifications are listed below.

Basic Qualifications

• 10+ years implementing Workday’s Financials Solutions
• Functional expertise in the following areas: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Billing, Procurement, Asset Management, Projects, Expense Management, Financial Reporting
• At least 6 Active Workday Certifications in the following areas: Foundation Data Model, Accounting Center, Record to Report, Contract to Cash, Expenses, Business Assets, Strategic Sourcing

Other Qualifications

• Passion for customer service
• Validated project management experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Business analysis and requirements gathering abilities.
• Ability to learn technology quickly through instruction and self-training.
• Experience deploying multiple projects simultaneously a plus
• Bachelor degree or relevant experience required
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
