Job Description

Plan and prepare daily menus that are balanced, age-appropriate, and aligned with HMPP guidelines.
Ensure meals meet the dietary recommendations for children and youth set by the Singapore Health Promotion Board.
Purchase, receive, and store food ingredients according to NEA/ HMPP food safety standards.
Prepare and serve meals in a safe, hygienic, and timely manner.
Maintain kitchen cleanliness, including sanitising cooking utensils, food preparation areas, and storage facilities in line with NEA regulations.
Monitor food inventory, manage supplies, and avoid wastage.
Ensure proper food portioning and presentation for children.
Comply with health and safety requirements, including personal hygiene standards, use of protective gear, and reporting of food-related incidents.
Clean classrooms, toilets, kitchen, and common areas daily to maintain high hygiene standards.
Sanitise frequently touched surfaces, toys, and learning materials regularly, in line with ECDA health and safety guidelines.
Manage proper waste disposal, including segregation of general waste and cleaning-related waste, as required by NEA.
Use appropriate cleaning agents and equipment safely and effectively.
Support teachers in maintaining classroom cleanliness after activities and meal/snack times.
Adhere to ECDA and NEA requirements for infection control, especially during outbreaks of communicable diseases.
