Job Summary

You will design and develop PLC software for automation machines within a multi-discipline team, delivering innovative solutions for manufacturing industries. You will lead software testing, deployment, and electrical troubleshooting while creating operational documentation and training stakeholders to ensure effective machine use.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop PLC software for automation machines using Omron, Innovance, and Mitsubishi platforms to meet manufacturing requirements
• Execute comprehensive software testing and debugging to ensure reliable machine performance
• Manage software release and deployment processes to deliver stable automation solutions
• Perform electrical equipment testing and troubleshooting to maintain system integrity and uptime
• Develop clear machine operation and maintenance manuals to support end-users and technicians
• Conduct training sessions for internal teams and external customers to enhance operational proficiency

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related disciplines
• Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) to support structured software delivery
• Familiarity with PLC platforms such as Omron, Mitsubishi, and Innovance for automation programming
• Understanding of robotics applications and robot programming with ABB, Kuka, and IAI systems
• Demonstrated willingness to learn new skills and adapt to evolving technologies
• Strong collaboration skills to contribute effectively within team environments
• Retired engineers are welcome to apply for contract roles, bringing valuable experience
