Planning and Programming Manager

Responsibilities:

• Translate client and contractual requirements into comprehensive and executable project plans for the delivery team.
• Develop, manage, and maintain project schedules using Oracle Primavera P6 (All relevant versions), ensuring alignment with project milestones, resource constraints, and regulatory expectations.
• Prepare, monitor, and update detailed work programs, progress curves, and planning deliverables for tender and execution stages.
• Adjust plans proactively in response to project changes, design developments, and client requests.
• Utilise risk and programme management tools to identify, assess, and mitigate schedule risks.
• Provide inputs for project controls, including earned value, variance analysis, and forecasting.
• Configure planning systems to meet customer, project, and internal requirements.
• Work closely with internal teams, consultants, clients, and subcontractors to ensure alignment of programme expectations.
• Provide regular reports, updates, and schedule-related insights to both internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain strong customer management and communication to support project delivery.
• Conduct site visits when required to verify progress and ensure schedule accuracy.
• Support overall project needs to meet client objectives and contractual obligations.

Requirements:

• Diploma, Degree, or higher qualification in Engineering or a relevant discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in construction planning and programme coordination for railway projects.
• Proficiency in Oracle Primavera P6 and related project planning tools.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently, lead planning activities, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
