Picture Framer Assistant

Responsibilities

·         Operating machines to cut, plane, turn, shape and sand work pieces.

·         Removing old finishes of picture frames of customers

·         Applying varnish, shellac, lacquer, stains, and paint to surfaces and polishing and waxing finished surfaces.

·         Fitting and fastening frame pieces.

·         Mounting backing materials and subjects for framing

·         Other general works instructed by Dept Head

Requirements:

·         Technical Capacity

·         Must be physically fit.

·         Must be able to handle heavy physical works.

·         Enjoy practical and manual activities.

·         Good time management skills to meet targets and deadlines.

·         An approachable manner and good communication skills, able to conserve in English & Chinese.

·         Responsible for ensuring company resources are used in an effective

manner to ensure best operating costs.

·         Display and aptitude for learning

·         Be able to work neatly and accurately.

·         A willingness to work flexibly.

·         Have good hand-eye coordination.

·         No work experience is needed

Qualification:

·         O Level and below / ITE

·         Basic knowledge of computer literacy

Others

·         Working Hours: Tuesday to Saturday, 8:30am to 6pm

·         Occasional public holiday and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
