Heartland Rehab is looking for a motivated Physiotherapist (Resident) to join our multidisciplinary rehabilitation team. This role is designed for early-career physiotherapists who are keen to build strong clinical foundations under structured supervision while delivering high-quality, patient-centred care.
Role Overview
As a Resident Physiotherapist, you will manage a supervised caseload while participating in ongoing mentorship, clinical education, and skills development. The role focuses on building competence in assessment, treatment planning, clinical reasoning, and professional practice within a supportive team environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assess and manage musculoskeletal and orthopaedic conditions under supervision
Deliver evidence-based physiotherapy interventions tailored to patient needs
Participate in clinical mentoring, case discussions, and in-service education
Assist in managing patient progression, rehabilitation outcomes, and discharge planning
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with clinic standards
Collaborate with senior physiotherapists and allied health professionals
Demonstrate commitment to continuous learning and professional development
Requirements
Degree or equivalent qualification in Physiotherapy
Early-career or newly qualified physiotherapist, or those transitioning into private practice
Strong interest in musculoskeletal and outpatient rehabilitation
Good communication skills, professionalism, and a growth mindset
Willingness to receive feedback and participate actively in mentorship
