STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Assist the pharmacist in the processing of medication orders for inpatient and outpatient dispensing which includes typing, packing, labeling and distribution of drug supplies to the wards and other hospital departments
2. Perform cashier and billing functions
3. Assist in providing quality customer service
4. Receive, unpack and check stocks against the appropriate documents, to ensure that items supplied are correct and accounted for
5. Arrange stocks in FEFO order
6. Topping up of cart-fill orders
7. Assist in repackaging of unit dose including operating machine and perform quality control
8. Topping up of medications into Automated Dispensing Cabinets
9. Assist in monitoring and maintaining inventory of stocks in the areas of work
10. Maintains the cleanliness of the pharmacy work areas, and prepare work areas for daily operations
11. Embrace continuous improvements as our way of life by improving and refining work performance on a daily basis
12. Supports the hospital by participating actively in the various activities organized by the hospital. Activities include QC, community projects, staff welfare and recreational activities and etc.
13. Other duties as directed by the supervisors.

Qualification

• Preferably at least a Diploma in healthcare related.
• Candidate who possesses Diploma in Applied Science (Pharmaceutical Science) from Republic Poly will be given training opportunity to be a Pharmacy Technician
• Pleasant disposition and service-oriented
• 5 days alternate weekends
