We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Pet Groomer to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality grooming services for a variety of pets. This role is perfect for someone passionate about animal care and looking to grow their career in pet grooming.

Key responsibilities:

1. Assist with Grooming Services:

• Bathe, brush, and dry pets in preparation for grooming.
• Trim nails, clean ears, and perform other basic grooming tasks.
• Support the Lead Pet Groomer with advanced grooming tasks as needed.

2. Customer Service:

• Greet pet owners and their pets, ensuring a warm and welcoming environment
• Scheduling of grooming appointments
• Discuss grooming requirements and preferences with pet owners.
• Provide updates to pet owners on the status of their pets during the grooming process.

3. Pet Handling and Safety:

• Handle pets gently and safely to ensure a stress-free grooming experience.
• Monitor pets for signs of distress or discomfort and report any concerns to the Lead Pet Groomer.
• Ensure all grooming tools and equipment are sanitized and in good working condition.

4. Learning and Development:

• Stay informed about the latest grooming techniques and industry trends.
• Participate in training sessions and workshops to improve grooming skills.
• Assist with the care and maintenance of grooming tools and equipment.

Experience and Requirements:

• Strong animal handling skills and a genuine love for animals.
• Possess at least SKC/DGA Class “C” Certificate
• Basic knowledge of grooming techniques and tools.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Patience and a calm demeanor when handling pets.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to providing high-quality grooming services.
• Willingness to learn
• 6 days work week, including weekend and public holidays
