Description

- Assess and provide Occupational Therapy intervention for pediatric clients with a wide range of developmental challenges.

- Conduct individual and/or group intervention within clinic and/or school environment

- Work closely with the team to develop and support them in providing appropriate intervention programs for the clients

- Conduct school and/or home visits when required and provide necessary accommodations

- Provide consultation and communication to support stakeholders (e.g., family and staff) in management of clients’ occupational therapy issues

- Maintain up-to-date records of assessment/intervention with clients, and consultation with families/staff/other stakeholders

- Maintain timely and appropriate feedback and necessary communication with the clients and stakeholders

- Be proactive in keeping abreast of developments in the field of Pediatric Occupational Therapy

Requirements

- Good Degree in occupational therapy from a recognised University by the Ministry of Health under the Allied Health Professions Act

- Have obtained Full Registration with the Allied Health Professions Council

- Preferably at least two years of knowledge and experience in working with children and youth with special needs and a wide range of multiple disabilities and complex needs

- Passionate about working with children and families

- Ability to interact with people of all ages and cultural backgrounds

- Strong commitment and motivation to work independently and collaboratively in interdisciplinary settings

- Excellent communication skills with good command of verbal and written English

- Possess good problem-solving, organisation and time-management skills
