Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Automotive PDI QC Inspector to ensure all vehicles meet established quality standards prior to delivery. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI), identifying defects, and ensuring vehicles are in optimal condition for customer handover.

Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) on new vehicles
• Conduct detailed visual and functional checks, including interior, exterior, battery bay, electrical systems, and accessories
• Verify the proper installation and functionality of optional accessories and add-ons
• Identify, document, and report any defects, damages, or non-conformities
• Coordinate with technicians and service teams to ensure timely rectification of issues
• Ensure all vehicles comply with company and manufacturer quality standards
• Maintain accurate inspection reports and proper documentation
• Support final vehicle readiness checks prior to delivery or dispatch
• Adhere to safety procedures and established quality control guidelines

Requirements:

• NITEC / Higher NITEC / Diploma in Automotive Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 1-2 years’ relevant experience in automotive inspection, PDI, or quality control
• Possess a valid Class 3 driving licence
• Strong knowledge of vehicle electrical and mechanical systems.
• High level of attention to detail with strong problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer proficiency for reporting and documentation

Preferred Qualifications (Added Advantage):

• Experience in a dealership or automotive distribution environment
• Familiarity with diagnostic tools and inspection checklists
• Good understanding of quality assurance processes
