Job Summary

We are looking for a Part-time Math Tutor who specializes in preparing students for the AEIS Mathematics examination. The tutor will help students strengthen their mathematical foundation and improve problem-solving skills required for the AEIS assessment, while also providing regular academic support.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Mathematics tutoring tailored to students preparing for the AEIS examination to strengthen foundational knowledge
• Teach key mathematical concepts aligned with the Singapore MOE syllabus to enhance student understanding
• Guide students through AEIS-style problem solving and exam techniques to improve test performance
• Design and prepare practice exercises and mock tests to simulate AEIS examination conditions
• Support students with school mathematics homework and revision to reinforce learning outcomes
• Monitor and track students’ academic progress and adapt teaching methods to meet individual learning needs

Required competencies and certifications

• Demonstrate a strong background in Mathematics to effectively support student learning
• Apply experience teaching primary or secondary level Mathematics to deliver age-appropriate instruction
• Utilize familiarity with the Singapore MOE curriculum and AEIS Mathematics examination to align tutoring content
• Communicate mathematical concepts clearly and effectively to facilitate student comprehension
• Exhibit patience, responsibility, and passion for teaching to foster a positive learning environment
