Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Part-Time English Teacher to deliver engaging and effective lessons that support students’ academic progress and foster a positive learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver English lessons aligned with the centre’s curriculum and lesson plans to primary and/or secondary school students
• Develop and prepare teaching materials that engage students and are appropriate for their age and learning level
• Monitor and assess students’ learning progress, providing constructive feedback to enhance their language skills
• Maintain classroom discipline by implementing strategies that promote a positive and focused learning environment
• Communicate clearly and professionally with parents about students’ progress, attendance, and areas for improvement
• Participate actively in internal meetings and training sessions to continuously improve teaching practices
• Manage punctuality and attendance, notifying the centre in advance of any leave to ensure smooth scheduling

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Local or prominent university graduate in English teaching field or relevant fields
• Strong communication (both spoken and written) and interpersonal skills
• Required to work on weekends
• Prior teaching or tutoring experience in English language instruction
• Relevant qualifications such as English, Education, or TESOL certifications
• Strong proficiency in spoken and written English
• Patience, responsibility, and commitment to supporting students’ learning outcomes
• Ability to commit reliably to a regular weekly teaching schedule
