Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of clients and oversee the delivery of outsourced accounting services, including bookkeeping, financial reporting, and corporate secretarial support
• Review and ensure accuracy of full sets of accounts, month-end/year-end closing, and financial statements
• Liaise with clients to understand their business needs and provide accounting and compliance support
• Ensure timely submission of GST, tax filings, and other statutory requirements (where applicable)
• Lead, supervise, and mentor a team of outsourced accountants, ensuring quality and timely deliverables
• Allocate work, monitor team performance, and provide training and guidance
• Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and service quality
• Act as the main point of contact for clients, handling queries and maintaining strong relationships
• Support business growth by identifying opportunities to expand services within existing client accounts

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent
• Professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA) is preferred
• At least 4–6 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in an accounting firm or outsourced environment
• Prior experience in managing a team is required
• Strong knowledge of full set of accounts, GST, and local compliance requirements
• Experience in handling multiple client portfolios is an advantage
• Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, or similar)
• Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and client management skills
