Job Summary
The main responsibility is to identify business opportunities and develop new customer accounts in a designated channel through networking and cold calling to potential new clients. The incumbent will also promote the company's products and services to optimize sales volume and achieve sales revenue and profit goals. They are accountable for business results in a specific geographic area and must ensure all outlets in their region are properly registered with the company.
Responsibilities
- Identify and generate new business leads through networking and cold calling to potential clients
- Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and contracts to prospective customers to secure new accounts
- Submit monthly progress reports on channel development activities to immediate superior
- Collect and provide regular market feedback on competitors’ products, programs, and activities to inform business strategy
- Ensure all outlets within the assigned geographic area are registered with the company
- Perform other duties as assigned to support business development goals
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Basic proficiency in MS Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook to support reporting and presentations
- Ability to work independently to manage assigned tasks and achieve sales targets
