Optician Executive (Eyewear and Retail industries Industry)

Island Wide

7 days off per month (44 hours per week) – Retail Hours

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct eye examinations for customers to assess vision and eye health

• Perform refraction tests for customers aged eight and above

• Interpret and explain prescriptions clearly to customers

• Edge lenses according to prescribed specifications

• Dispense and make adjustments to spectacles and frames

• Follow up on customer appointments to ensure satisfaction and proper care

• Provide professional advice and consultation on eyewear options

• Manage daily store operations, including retail sales and inventory management

• Perform any additional duties as assigned by supervisors

Job Requirements

• Registered with the Opticians & Optometrists Board (OOB) (pre-registered candidates are welcome to apply)

• Possess an approved qualification in Opticianry

• Hold registration as an Optician with the Ministry of Health Singapore

• Previous retail experience is a plus

• Strong communication skills, proactive, with a positive attitude

• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

• Willing to work long hours, including weekends and public holidays

• Training will be provided, including product knowledge, SOPs, and introduction sessions.
