As an Optician, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Schedule patient appointments and make reminder calls.
• ⁠Assist ophthalmologist in eye examinations and minor procedures
• Perform basic diagnostic tests (visual acuity, refraction, IOP measurement)
• Operate and maintain ophthalmic equipment (OCT, fundus camera, autorefractor)
• Prepare patients by recording medical and ocular history
• Administer eye drops or medications as instructed
• Guide patients through procedures and post-care instructions
• Schedule appointments and manage patient flow
• Maintain accurate clinical records and data entry
• Ensure hygiene and calibration of instruments
• Provide front-line patient service and basic eye care advice
• ⁠Any other tasks assigned.

Requirements:

• With Diploma in Opticianry
• At least 1-2 years experience in opticianry duties
• Preceptorship is provided for pre-reg candidates
