Operations Executive – Precious Metals Trading

Our client is one of the largest gold and precious metals trading firms in the region, with a strong global presence across physical trading and market operations. Due to continued expansion in Asia, they are growing their Singapore operations team and are seeking motivated individuals who are passionate about financial markets and commodities trading.

Key Responsibilities

•            Support daily operational processes related to gold and precious metals trading activities

•            Assist with trade capture, reconciliation, and settlement coordination

•            Monitor trading transactions to ensure accuracy and timely processing

•            Liaise with internal stakeholders including trading, finance, and risk teams

•            Coordinate with external counterparties, brokers, and logistics providers where required

•            Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures

•            Support reporting, documentation, and operational improvement initiatives

Requirements

•            Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field

•            Fresh graduates are welcome; prior internship or exposure to trading, commodities, or financial markets is advantageous

•            Strong interest in gold, commodities, or metals trading

•            Detail-oriented, responsible, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment

•            Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team

•            Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic data handling is preferred
