Job Summary
The Operations and Events Executive manages daily operations and executes client events for local and global markets, ensuring seamless service delivery and fostering strong client relationships.
Responsibilities
- Assign jobs to in-house and external drivers for local and global transport requirements to ensure timely and efficient service delivery
- Monitor and evaluate service performance of local and global drivers to maintain consistent service standards
- Manage client communications via email regarding bookings to foster strong business relationships and ensure consistent follow-ups with corporate accounts
- Plan, execute, and manage events aligned with clients’ global transport needs, ensuring all logistical and operational aspects are coordinated effectively
- Lead client servicing activities including customer acquisition, onboarding, active support, and on-site event execution to enhance client satisfaction
- Coordinate projects for events by collaborating with clients, external vendors, and contractors to manage timelines, manpower, logistics, and housekeeping requirements
- Demonstrate initiative and versatility by adapting to various event types and operational demands
Required competencies and certifications
- Fluent proficiency in written and spoken English to effectively communicate with clients and stakeholders
- Basic Mandarin speaking skills to support client interactions where required
- Flexibility to work extended hours, including weekends, during event periods to ensure successful event execution
- Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently by setting priorities and maintaining responsibility and commitment to work
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Event Management, Business Management, or related fields to support operational and event management functions
- Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in operations or event management to add value in delivering client solutions
- Strong adaptability and resilience to perform effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Meticulous attention to detail to accurately understand and fulfill client requirements
- Positive and independent working attitude to drive tasks with motivation and minimal supervision
