We are looking for a skilled and creative Multimedia Editor cum Videographer to join the SPH Chinese Media Group. In this role, you will lead the editing of video/audio content for our Young Audience platforms, mainly HeyKaki and ZBSchools.

Responsibilities

● Edit and assemble high-quality visual and audio materials, ensuring consistency, clarity and creative excellence

● Creation of motion graphics for web and mobile video content

● Work closely with content producers/reporters to generate creative content and video/podcast concepts

● Contribute to full content production process including ideation, storyboarding and post-editing

● Able to review and identify locations, setups and necessary lightings required for content production

● Independently set up and dismantle cameras, audio equipment, lighting, microphones, and props

● Managing all relevant video assets including video content and footages archiving

Requirements

● Diploma in Art/Design/Creative Multimedia/Video Production or equivalent

● Proficiency in video editing, with 2–3 years of relevant experience.

● Experience in videography or video production is an advantage.

● Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Premier Pro and After Effects

● Strong visual storytelling ability and creativity, with a willingness to bring innovative elements into video and podcast content. Having a sense of humour will be an advantage. Having a sense of humour will be an advantage.

● Have an above average grasp of the Chinese language and comfortable to be working in a Chinese-speaking environment

● Up-to-date with latest social media trends and content styles

● Interest in producing engaging and informative content for young adult audiences

● Able to work independently and collaboratively, with strong time-management skills and the ability to meet deadlines
