Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Montessori Teacher to guide children aged 18 months to 6 years in a nurturing, child-centered learning environment. The ideal candidate embraces Montessori philosophy, supports independent learning, and fosters holistic development through purposeful, hands-on activities.

Job Responsibilities: 

• Lead and maintain a clean, orderly, and fully prepared Montessori classroom in accordance with school standards.
• Ensure children’s safety at all times and maintain required teacher-to-child ratios.
• Deliver sequential Montessori lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum framework.
• Observe, assess, and document each child’s development, strengths, and areas for growth.
• Support individualised learning using Montessori principles.
• Collaborate with fellow Guides, Montessori Mentor, and Head of School to uphold program quality.
• Implement feedback and work collaboratively to address student concerns.
• Welcome classroom observations and parent tours.
• Communicate regularly with parents using approved platforms and tools.
• Provide formal progress updates through conferences, reports, and portfolios.
• Participate actively in team meetings, school events, community initiatives, and ongoing professional development.

Requirements:

• Montessori Diploma certified (AMI, AMS, or MACTE accredited qualification required)
• ECDA-certified L2 Educator 
• Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field has an added advantage
• Strong command of the English Language
• Relevant experience working with children aged 3–6 years
• Demonstrates a growth mindset, strong problem-solving skills, good classroom management
