Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities :
1. Lead and manage day-to-day mechanical and electrical (M&E) operations, including coordinating and supervising a team of engineering technicians to ensure optimal system uptime, service reliability, and quality of work.
2. Oversee and manage the preparation of tenders and quotations, ensuring submissions are accurate, competitive, and aligned with client requirements, contractual obligations, and established company procedures.
3. Plan, coordinate, and implement planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and repair works in accordance with contractual specifications and operational standards.
4. Investigate and resolve technical issues and complaints, conducting enquiries and implementing corrective actions in accordance with company policies and service standards.
5. Conduct investigations relating to Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) matters, ensuring adherence to company safety policies and regulatory requirements.
6. Supervise work programmes and conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health regulations, identifying and documenting any incidents of non-compliance.
7. Provide technical leadership and guidance to Senior Technical Staff, M&E Officers, and Supervisors on mechanical and electrical installations, maintenance practices, and troubleshooting to ensure high service standards.
8. Ensure effective scheduling and coordination of service and repair programmes in accordance with contractual service levels and operational requirements.
9. Support and advise M&E Supervisors on operational planning, resource scheduling, and technical matters to ensure efficient site operations.
10. Oversee ad hoc works and contractor activities, ensuring that work scopes, safety requirements, and quality standards are strictly complied with.
11. Provide timely operational reports, analysis, and recommendations to Management to support informed decision-making and continuous service improvement.
12. Manage client relations at operational level, including addressing client feedback or grievances related to site staff performance and providing guidance or counselling to staff to maintain service standards and client satisfaction.
