Job Summary

Assist the Project Manager in managing and coordinating Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) engineering projects to ensure timely and smooth delivery through effective planning, resource management, and stakeholder collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Project Manager to plan, coordinate, and prepare project documentation for submission, ensuring compliance with project requirements
• Propose alternative design and construction methods to consultants to optimize project outcomes and efficiency
• Manage and deploy resources effectively to ensure smooth project delivery and adherence to timelines
• Liaise proactively with customers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders on site to ensure project specifications and quality standards are met
• Identify, document, and communicate any issues related to products or processes to facilitate timely resolution
• Work independently to resolve drawing discrepancies and coordinate site works to maintain project progress
• Undertake additional duties assigned by management to support project and organizational objectives

Required competencies and certifications

• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution
• 1-3 years of experience as an M&E Engineer in building projects
• Ability to plan and coordinate site works and resolve drawing details and discrepancies
• Ability to liaise effectively with clients, consultants, and subcontractors
• Ability to work independently

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience with Autodesk Revit MEP software
