Job Summary

To supervise and coordinate Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) work on site, ensuring compliance with specifications, schedules, and safety regulations while liaising with authorities and stakeholders to facilitate successful project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate sub-contractors’ M&E activities on site to ensure timely completion aligned with project schedules
• Verify that M&E works for Electrical, ACMV, Plumbing, Sanitary, and Fire Protection systems comply with specifications and approved drawings
• Monitor contractor adherence to all relevant standards, codes of practice, and safety regulations to maintain site safety and quality
• Arrange and facilitate Regular Extension (RE) and Request for Temporary Occupation (RTO) inspections to support project milestones
• Liaise proactively with regulatory authorities to secure necessary approvals and commissions for M&E works
• Participate in site meetings to communicate progress, resolve issues, and align project objectives with stakeholders

Required competencies and certifications

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering recognized by the Singapore Professional Engineers Board (PEB) or equivalent

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Proficient in using AutoCAD to review and interpret technical drawings for M&E works
• Skilled in Microsoft Office applications to document, report, and communicate project information effectively
