Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Tutor for A-Level to join our academic team. This role involves teaching a small cohort of A-Level students, allowing for personalized instruction and strong teacher-student engagement compared to larger international school settings.

Responsibilities

• Deliver A-Level Mathematics and Accounting Studies lessons to small student cohorts, ensuring personalized and effective instruction
• Adapt and collaborate on lesson plans to meet diverse learner profiles and optimize student engagement
• Monitor and assess student academic progress regularly to provide targeted support and interventions
• Prepare students comprehensively for A-Level examinations and assessments to maximize their academic outcomes
• Maintain accurate academic records and generate reports to track student performance and inform instructional strategies
• Provide academic guidance and mentorship to support students’ holistic development and examination readiness
• Collaborate with school leadership to contribute to curriculum planning and academic program development

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience teaching A-Level or equivalent upper secondary curriculum
• Experience working in an international school setting, enhancing cross-cultural teaching effectiveness
• Strong subject knowledge across multiple disciplines to support interdisciplinary learning

Required competencies and certifications

• Relevant teaching qualification (e.g., Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education or subject-related discipline)
• Eligibility to work in Singapore
