Key Responsibilities:

1. Kitchen Operations 🧑‍🍳

• Oversee daily kitchen operations and food production.

• Ensure consistency in food quality, presentation, and taste standards.

• Maintain SOPs for preparation, cooking, and plating.

• Manage kitchen workflow to ensure smooth service during peak periods.
  

2. Menu Development 🧾

• Design and update menus in line with brand concept and market trends.

• Develop seasonal promotions and special menus.
  Conduct food tasting and quality checks regularly.
  

3. Cost & Inventory Management 💰

• Control food cost and maintain target GP margins.

• Monitor inventory levels and reduce wastage.

• Manage ordering of ingredients and kitchen supplies.
  Conduct monthly stock take and reconciliation.
  

4. Team Leadership 🗣️

• Recruit, train, and supervise kitchen staff.
  Schedule manpower according to operational needs.

• Conduct performance evaluations and coaching.

• Enforce discipline and kitchen hygiene standards.
  

5. Food Safety & Compliance ✅

• Ensure compliance with SFA and NEA regulations.

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards (HACCP if applicable).

• Oversee proper food storage and handling procedures.
  

6. Administrative Duties 🧑‍💻

• Prepare kitchen reports (food cost, wastage, manpower).

• Work closely with management on budgeting and planning.

• Coordinate with front-of-house team for smooth operations.

Requirements 🎯

• Proven experience as Head Chef / Sous Chef (minimum 5–8 years kitchen experience).

• Strong leadership and team management skills.

• Solid understanding of food costing and inventory control.

• Knowledge of food safety regulations in Singapore.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and during weekends/public holidays.
