Key Responsibilities

Project Financing

• Develop financing plans for solar and energy storage projects in the covered regions
• Liaise with local banks and financial institutions, coordinate with internal teams and external advisors (legal, financial, etc.), and drive the financing process to achieve Financial Close (FC).
• Oversee the execution of loan agreements to ensure compliance with financing terms.
• Maintain ongoing communication with financial institutions, submit periodic reports, and provide required documentation.
• Monitor project financial performance and debt servicing, identifying and resolving potential risks in a timely manner.
• Support potential refinancing or other financial optimization activities.

Investment Analysis

• Conduct financial modeling and investment analysis for projects in specific countries to evaluate feasibility and support investment decisions.

Mergers, Acquisitions, and Power Purchase Agreements (PPA)

• Participate in contract negotiations related to PPAs and project acquisitions.

Job Requirements

Educational Background

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.

Work Experience

At least 5 years of relevant experience, particularly in:

• Project Financing: Candidates with successful financing case studies will be prioritized.
• Investment Analysis: Familiarity with financial modeling for infrastructure projects (PF/LBO models).
• PPA or M&A-related Work: Demonstrated expertise in related transactions is a plus.

Other Skills

• Fluent in both spoken and written English & Chinese, in order to liaise with local and Chinese counterparties.
• Strong analytical and logical thinking abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with excellent teamwork skills.
