Key Responsibilities:

• Vehicle Operation & Safety: Safely drive lorries, trucks, or prime movers, complying with all road safety regulations, traffic laws, and parking rules.
• Loading & Unloading: Secure cargo and assist with or supervise the loading/unloading of goods, ensuring items are not damaged.
• Logistics & Planning: Plan efficient routes to meet delivery schedules and communicate any delays to dispatchers.
• Maintenance & Inspections: Perform daily checks (oil, tires, brakes) and routine maintenance to ensure the vehicle is roadworthy.
• Documentation: Handle delivery orders, invoices, and logbooks, including recording mileage and fuel usage. 

Requirements:

• Valid driving license (typically Class 3 for small trucks or Class 4/5 for heavy vehicles).
• Good driving record with no major traffic violations.
• Physical fitness for lifting, moving goods, and long hours of driving.
