Job Summary

You will coordinate and manage end-to-end logistics operations by liaising with shipping lines, airlines, transporters, and agents to secure bookings, rates, and space. You will ensure accurate preparation of shipping and customs documents, collaborate with internal teams to complete shipment processes, and maintain strong client relationships by delivering tailored logistics solutions.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with shipping lines, airlines, transporters, and agents to secure bookings, negotiate rates, and arrange cargo space to optimize shipment schedules
• Prepare and verify shipping, customs, and trade documents including invoices, packing lists, BL/AWB, and permits to ensure compliance and timely processing
• Collaborate with internal teams such as customs declaration, overseas operations, and accounting to complete seamless end-to-end shipment processes
• Enforce adherence to company procedures, customer SOPs, and regulatory requirements related to import and export activities
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients by understanding their logistics needs and delivering customized solutions
• Respond promptly and professionally to inbound inquiries, service requests, and feedback via phone, email, or in person to enhance customer satisfaction
• Provide accurate quotations and efficiently process customer orders to support business growth
• Conduct client site surveys to assess logistics requirements and coordinate with operational staff to ensure smooth on-site execution

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or project-related roles
• Proven communication, negotiation, and customer service skills demonstrated through client interactions and contract discussions
• Experience handling project logistics, Out-Of-Gauge (OOG), Non-Common-Load (NCL), Break-Bulk, or heavy and oversized cargo transportation
• Knowledge of international logistics including Incoterms, basic customs procedures, and various shipping modes
• Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems to manage logistics data and customer information
• Possession of a Class 3 driving license is advantageous
• Singaporeans and Permanent Residents preferred
