Job Summary

Join as Lead Mechanical Engineer to deliver high-performance HVAC, Plumbing & Drainage, and Fire Protection solutions for data centers. Lead design, ensure compliance, and collaborate across teams to drive project success from pre-sales to commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design of data center systems including cooling, distribution units, and fire protection to meet project requirements
• Review and validate engineering calculations focusing on energy efficiency metrics such as PUE and WUE
• Translate client requirements into practical engineering solutions ensuring design feasibility and compliance with standards
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop integrated engineering solutions and coordinate across disciplines for holistic project delivery
• Support preparation of technical proposals and RFP responses to secure new projects
• Engage with clients, consultants, and authorities to provide technical input during project development and design reviews
• Provide technical guidance and resolve engineering issues during construction and commissioning phases
• Ensure adherence to company standards, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements throughout project lifecycle
• Drive continuous improvement of engineering processes within the team
• Work closely with sales, procurement, and delivery teams to align project objectives and execution
• Contribute to knowledge sharing and capability development within the engineering team

Required competencies and certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
• Minimum 10 years of relevant engineering experience
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Professional Engineer (PE), Chartered Engineer, or equivalent certification
• Experience with data center or mission-critical environments
• Familiarity with HVAC systems, cooling technologies, and mechanical infrastructure design
• Understanding of testing, commissioning, and operational requirements
• Experience with data center standards such as Uptime Institute and TIA
• Exposure to energy-efficient design and sustainability practices
