Base Salary: $5,200 / month, depending on experience and qualifications.
Incentives: Additional pay based on student population up to total remuneration of $7,200 / month

What makes you succeed
Education and Experience:
A diploma or degree in Education, Mathematics, Science, or a related field.
Teaching certification (preferred but not mandatory).
At least 5 years of teaching and/or professional tutoring experience.
Proven results with average and weaker students, not just top performers
Experienced in actively mentoring junior educators or interns
Educator Skills:
Strong alignment with MOE / PSLE / O-Level marking logic
Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics and/or Science aligned with the MOE syllabus.
Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
Proficiency in creating and adapting lesson plans to meet students' needs.
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
Familiarity with new teaching technologies and tools (Notion, ClickUp, Miro, etc.) is a plus.
Creativity in delivering lessons that are engaging and impactful.
The ability to articulate why a method works, not just demonstrate it
Leadership Skills:
Ability to design clear, structured lesson plans and teaching frameworks that can be consistently implemented by multiple educators
Demonstrated experience in developing, improving, and maintaining curriculum materials, instructional frameworks, and assessment rubrics
Proven capability to standardise teaching quality across different classes, educators, and academic levels
Strong ability to translate instructional intuition and classroom experience into documented processes, guidelines, and best practices
Experience providing direct, constructive, and professional feedback to educators, including on performance gaps and improvement areas
Ability to observe lessons and accurately diagnose instructional, pedagogical, or classroom management challenges
Demonstrated coaching skills to support educator development while maintaining ownership and accountability with the individual educator

What your daily role looks like
Working Arrangement
9 - 10 Lessons a Week
One Weekend Day (9am - 6pm Saturday or Sunday)
10am - 7pm (4 Full Working Week Days)
Teaching Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the needs of individual students and small groups.
Provide personalized feedback to students to enhance their learning journey.
Monitor and assess student progress, addressing any challenges proactively.
Support students in exam preparation and the development of critical thinking skills.
Management Responsibilities
Own and uphold lesson quality standards across assigned classes and educators
Ensure consistent application of approved teaching frameworks, lesson structures, and assessment rubrics
Conduct regular lesson observations and audits to identify quality gaps and improvement areas
Intervene promptly when teaching standards are not met and ensure corrective actions are implemented
Coach, mentor, and support assigned educators to improve instructional effectiveness and classroom execution
Provide clear, timely, and constructive feedback, including addressing performance gaps directly when required
Develop and track individual improvement plans for educators who are underperforming or in transition
Support onboarding and ramp-up of new educators to ensure alignment with centre standards
Monitor student progress and learning outcomes across assigned educators
Identify trends in student underperformance and coordinate targeted instructional interventions
Support educators in addressing learning gaps, exam readiness, and student confidence
Curriculum Development:
Collaborate with the curriculum team to create and refine learning materials (e.g., worksheets, quizzes, lesson plans).
Ensure all materials align with the MOE syllabus and reflect best teaching practices.
Research and incorporate innovative teaching strategies and resources.
Other Duties:
Assist with administrative tasks related to classroom preparation and resource management.
Participate in team meetings and contribute to organizational development initiatives.
Support tuition center events, workshops, or activities as needed.
Optionally, contribute to social media content creation related to educational material.
