Job Summary

Support fragrance projects by preparing samples and conducting product testing to ensure quality and stability across laundry care, cosmetics, personal care, and fine fragrance products.

Responsibilities

• Prepare samples and conduct product testing to support fragrance projects and product development for laundry care, cosmetics, personal care, and fine fragrance products
• Monitor application tests and evaluate product stability based on olfactive character and visual quality, reporting findings to internal departments and sales teams
• Perform stability, pH, and viscosity tests and apply fragrances for product evaluation
• Participate in panel testing sessions for fragranced products to assess sensory attributes
• Observe sample durability over time and report any abnormalities or deviations
• Assist in developing and updating formulation bases, policies, and procedures to improve product quality and compliance
• Prepare applications and samples for sensory testing by perfumers and CFGs
• Maintain and track inventory levels of laboratory equipment and supplies, including glass bottles and raw materials for base formulation
• Operate, maintain, calibrate, and sterilize laboratory equipment and work areas to ensure accurate testing and safety
• Systematically file and maintain formulation records and test documentation for traceability
• Regularly verify that raw materials are stored at correct temperatures to maintain quality and safety standards
• Ensure safe disposal of bio-hazardous materials in compliance with safety protocols
• Perform standard laboratory tests following prescribed procedures and accurately record test results
• Maintain a clean and safe laboratory environment and workplace to comply with health and safety regulations

Required competencies and certifications

• Diploma in Chemical Process Technology or equivalent experience in a similar role
• Minimum 1 year of experience in the fragrance industry
