Job Summary

We are seeking a Junior Network Engineer to participate in Operations Support System. This role requires experience in Cisco networking technologies and some background in Check Point firewall solutions.

Mandatory Skill-set

• Diploma in Information Technology or Computer Science;
• Must have at least 1 year in IT Infrastructure role or as Network Engineer;
• Must have good communication skills.  

Desired Skill-set

• Practical experience with VLANs, IP networking, and familiarity with Check Point or similar firewall platforms;
• Basic understanding of networking concepts, firewalls, and Windows operating systems.

Responsibilities

• Ensure reliable LAN/WAN operations by monitoring performance, optimizing capacity, and maintaining network hardware and software;
• Provide L1/L2 support by troubleshooting issues, identifying root causes, and implementing effective resolutions;
• Deploy, decommission, and upgrade network devices in alignment with lifecycle practices and compliance policies;
• Maintain accurate and updated network documentation while contributing to process and workflow enhancements;
• Support or lead network initiatives, manage vendor engagements, and evaluate technologies for infrastructure improvement;
• Offer on-call support for critical production environments, typically once or twice each quarter.
