Our client is a reputable and well-established international commodity trading firm specializing in metals, with a strong global presence and diversified operations, currently seeking a Junior Investment Analyst to join their team.

Reporting to the Investment Manager, the incumbent will be working in a team of 3 staffs. He / She will be responsible for supporting investment due diligence process, conduct market research, assess & identify strategic business opportunities for exploration, development and potential investment. The main duties will also include creating of marketing decks, business proposals & project briefs, developing financial models to facilitate deal structuring, presenting to internal & external stakeholders for buy-in & reporting, and project management.

Additionally, he / she will need to assist and contribute to the origination, execution and management of cross-border projects within the organization’s focus areas

REQUIREMENTS

• Recognized Bachelor’s Degree in Banking & Finance, Accountancy or equivalent
• Post-grad qualifications such as CFA, and Masters would be advantageous
• At least 2 years of related working experience in either the Commodity Trading, Manufacturing, or Heavy Machinery Engineering industry a must
• High level of proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Project, Excel, and Word)
• Demonstrated expertise in creating marketing decks and financial models is required)
• Excellent communicator with great interpersonal skills
